Valuation notices will be going out on Friday according to the Reno County Appraisers Office. County Appraiser 
Michael Brooks says that if you do not receive your notice by March 7th that you contact his office at 620-694-2915. There could be some changes in the market value in the city. According to a report there is evidence of some recovery in the city from the economic downturn. His report says that overall valuation in the area will likely increase by about 1.5%. The highest increase will likely come from the northern sections of Hutchinson and the southwest sections of South Hutchinson. Valuation of vacant land appears to have changed little from the previous year.
