Icy I-135 on Saturday
Newton–A teenager was injured in a rollover crash on slick I-135 in Harvey County on Saturday.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reports a 1993 Chevy Blazer driven by Cody A. Stone, 17, Park City was northbound on I-135 at 11:15 a.m.
The vehicle lost traction with the roadway over a bridge, left the roadway to the left, rolled one time and came to rest on its left side facing south in the median.
A passenger in the Blazer Madison O. Smith, 17, of Valley Center was transported to St. Francis hospital in Wichita. Stone was not injured.
The KHP reported that both were wearing seat belts.
