DODGE CITY— Two women were injured in a Friday afternoon accident in Ford County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol reported a 2005 Chevy HHR driven by Helen Louise Foote, 62, Spearville, was westbound on U.S. 50 fifteen miles east of Dodge City.
The Chevy attempted a left turn onto 126 road and was struck in the right rear corner by a west bound 2005 Lexus driven by Connie J. Chapman, 54, Wichita.
Foote and Chapman were transported to Western Plains Hospital. The KHP reported they were both wearing seat belts at the time of the accident.
