DODGE CITY, Kan.- Storms rolled across Kansas Tuesday evening bringing numerous reports of damaging winds and some 1-inch hail reported in Jewell County.
Across Kansas, southwest Russell County reported the most rain, just more than 2 inches. Portions of Reno County received just under a half inch of moisture.
Scott County reported winds over 90 mph, and gusts of over 70 mph were recorded in portions of Russell, Gove and Barton County. Power lines and trees were reported down in a rural area northwest of Hoisington.
Ness County had gusts of 65 mph.
