A 25-year-old Hutchinson man has been formally charged with felony flee and elude and felony theft when he allegedly stole a Pontiac G-6 and then led police on a short chase.
William Alexander is alleged to have stolen on July 29, and was finally stopped in the at 3 rd & Superior. He was then arrested on the flee and elude charge, but also driving with no drivers license on him.
The state charged him with the two felonies and Magistrate Judge Randy McEwen set his case for a waiver-status hearing on August 27.
He remains jailed on a bond of 2-thousand, 50-dollars.
